I'm Not Strong Enough

Matthew West release this huge hit back in 2011. (as of this posting, his youtube video has 17 million views) Interestingly, this was a time in my life when i starting dealing with panic and anxiety due to a bad car accident. This song and others really made a difference for me. (Other songs, MWS, Healing Rain, TobyMac, Get Back Up, Kutless, What Faith Can Do, and others)

Strong Enough is a song based a real life story that Matthew received from a mother. Her daughter was severely injured in a car accident. She eventually went through over a dozen surgeries. The emotional Mom wrote to Matthew when he asked for real life stories to base some new songs on. After reading her story and writing a song about it, he then met with the family and talked about why he chose their story. Matthew wanted people to understand that we aren't strong enough to handle what this life throws at us. But, God is, and God will be there to help us through the hardest times.
