Why Did Jesus Come When He Did?

Writer: Kyle GreenhowKyle Greenhow

God's timing doesn't always make sense to us. However, we can study the history and circumstances of events like the birth of Jesus. When we do that, we can begin to see that God's timing is always perfect! In time travel movies mistakes are always made that lead to less than desirable outcomes, but only God can see the whole picture and knows the perfect timing for each and every thing. Let's not forget that God wants all men to be saved. (1 Tim. 2) If this is true, (and it is!), we need to have faith that He is constantly working and planning for the salvation of any who is willing to believe, even you!

Verses To Consider:

1 Timothy 2:3-7

3 This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all people to be saved and to come to bthe knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave himself as a ransom for all, which is the testimony given at the proper time. 7 For this I was appointed a preacher and an apostle (I am telling the truth, I am not lying), a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.
