Storms. Some people like them. Others fear them. Some like myself, who survived a tornado, fall somewhere in the middle. I would say that I have a healthy respect for them. It is interesting how the Bible has several accounts of Jesus in the midst of storms. It is almost as if God wanted us to remember that we can look to Him when facing our own storms. (Whether related to weather or related or the trials of this life.) This devotion asks us to put our faith and trust in Jesus when we feel scared or uncertain. I thought it was a good reminder. After all, I know He won't let us down!

Verse for Consideration:

And he awoke and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Peace! Be still!” And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
