Independence seems to be built into the human psyche. We like to go our own way. Often we decline direction and correction, only to regret it later. This devotion speaks about our tendency to wander spiritually and how God continually, out of His great love, redirects us back to His path for us.


Verses for Consideration:


And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left.


But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”—
