For those who are not usually fans of hard rock groups, you may be tempted to overlook when Seventh Day Slumber releases a new song. Don't overlook this one! The song titled, "Found" is a great Christian anthem at a more pop-rock feel. I love the part which says, "You were the one bringing my healing. With open arms, you call me son."
VERSES FOR CONSIDERATION:
Ephesians 2:8-9 ESV
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
LYRICS:
I had to lose it all, to come to my senses.
To see how far I’d run.
Now I can clearly see, it was me not you.
I was the one who had moved.
Just when I thought I was all of chances…
You were the one who always came running.
When all my world had come undone.
You were the one bringing my healing.
With open arms, you call me son.
Deep in the valley you were still calling.
Deep in my heart, I heard the sound.
All of your grace for all of my failure.
I was so lost, now I’m found!
Though I have regret, you always remind me,
Your grace can’t be outrun.
When you look at me, it’s not my shame you see.
All my stains are washed away.
I am new, I am changed.
You were the one who always came running.
When all my world had come undone.
You were the one bringing my healing.
With open arms, you call me son.
Deep in the valley you were still calling.
Deep in my heart, I heard the sound.
All of your grace for all of my failure.
I was so lost, now I’m found!
So I will cherish the old rugged cross.
Til my trophies at last I lay down.
I will cling to the old rugged cross.
And exchange it someday for a crown.
You were the one who always came running.
When all my world had come undone.
You were the one bringing my healing.
With open arms, you call me son.
Deep in the valley you were still calling.
Deep in my heart, I heard the sound.
All of your grace for all of my failure.
I was so lost, now I’m found!
Now I’m found!
Now I’m found!
