You might already know this, but there is a culture war going on. Many with anti-Christian views and lifestyles are, and always will be, trying to silence those who disagree with their life styles and choices. I tell my kids that it takes two to fight and it's true. So to be fair, many religious people fuel their attacks by actually persecuting people who live and believe differently. While we shouldn't condone wrong beliefs and behaviors, we need to remember our own sin and treat others with love and patience. This culture war has been going on for several decades, and over the years, many different topics have been fought over. Today, the most common topics are abortion and homosexuality. This testimony video introduces us to a man who lived as a homosexual for many years. However, after coming face to face with God and His word, this man came to faith and was made new. Today this man who struggled with his sexuality is married to a great woman and has kids as well. There are many lessons that can be learned. One, God can, and does love even the "worst" sinners and can heal them of anything they are dealing with. Two, as Christians living out our faith, we should always help people to know that our loving God doesn't require us to make ourselves good enough for Him. Instead, out of love, God comes to us, loves us anyway, helps our unbelief, and heals us from the inside out.
