Raised in France, this young man admits that the norm was to believe that there was no God. Later in life, after a chance meeting led to dating a "Christian" woman, he set out to prove Christianity wrong. However, he soon found himself compelled to get more answers. I like the summary at the end, where it is explained how even though this man wasn't searching for God, God was searching for him. I think it is so important to see God as active in our lives all the time. When i say, "our lives" I mean everyone. Even those who say they don't believe!
Verses for Consideration:
Psalm 14:1 ESV
To the choirmaster. Of David. The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, they do abominable deeds, there is none who does good.
Proverbs 18:2 ESV
A fool takes no pleasure in understanding, but only in expressing his opinion.
