Young kids are not known to be patient. Actually, waiting patiently isn't easy for any age. I know people who are going through some tough times. It is hard to watch from the outside. I want to reach out and fix things for them. Sadly our "wants" and "wishes" can't always be reality, not at least in our timing. This devotion reminds us that God's timing is not our timing, but, however, it is perfect! In your Bible readings, read about people who had to wait on Gods timing. (Joseph, David, Hannah, and even Zechariah and Elizabeth. These real life stories can certainly help calm our unrest. However ultimately, while life is not making sense in our minds, we need to learn to rest in His perfect, capable hands. I believe that someday, as you look back, it will all make sense.
