I don't remember how I stumbled upon this blog, but was immediately struck by it. I have spent time before talking about how God looks at our heart and how important it is to examine ourselves in this regard. But I can't say I had thought of this in this way before. The author of this article says "hardness of heart" is the problem. If this is true, everyone who is currently married should do some self reflection. Thankfully God is big enough to already know the condition of our heart, and to be able to fix our hearts when we repent and ask for help.

Verses for Consideration:

Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
